Tony’s isn’t just Houston’s leading destination for innovative fine dining. It’s also an art gallery: Tony’s walls have always been adorned with works by top artists from Houston and beyond.

The most recent work to be debuted there is Houston artist’s Travis Hedemann’s “Iniziamo l’azione” (“Let’s Get the Party Started”).

“Like Tony,” says Hedemann, ‘I’m passionately in love with Passion,’ to quote Baudelaire. To me, Tony is not merely a collector. He’s an educator. He’s a tastemaker.”

Hedemann was first introduced to Tony Vallone by legendary Houston-based art collector Don Sanders. Since that first meeting, Vallone has commissioned numerous works by the artist, many of which adorn the walls of Houston culinary landmark Tony’s and Ciao Bello on San Felipe at Sage.

A native Houstonian, Travis Hedemann is known for his bold, eye-catching paintings.

In recent years, the artist has become a darling of the Hollywood art scene and his works have been purchased by many of the entertainment industry’s bold-face names.
